Take control of the incredible Fireboy and Watergirl and prepare to explore an ancient temple full of traps and puzzles that can only be solved with teamwork and coordination.
Fireboy is immune to fire, while Watergirl can cross water without any problems. You will need to combine their skills and activate mechanisms to overcome all the levels this amazing adventure has for you. Play alone or with a friend and show that together you can create strategies and unite ideas to overcome any obstacle. This game was released on November 19, 2009.
How to play
Simultaneously control the characters Fireboy and Watergirl to solve puzzles and overcome obstacles in various levels. The challenge is to use their skills strategically to collect diamonds and reach the exits of each level.
Controls
- Fireboy : Move: left and right arrow keys. / Jump: up arrow key.
- Watergirl : Move: 'A' (left) and 'D' (right) keys. / Jump: 'W' key.
Play in Co-op Mode
Although it’s possible to play alone, the experience is more enriching in co-op mode with a friend. Each player controls one character, collaborating to overcome challenges. This approach makes the game more dynamic and fun, as it combines both characters’ skills to efficiently solve puzzles.
Opposite Elements
- Fireboy : Can walk through fire without taking damage, but contact with water is fatal for him. Additionally, he cannot collect blue diamonds, only red ones.
- Watergirl : Can walk through water without issues, but touching fire severely harms her. She cannot collect red diamonds, only blue ones.
Important tips!
- Avoid green mud, as it is lethal for both characters.
- Fireboy collects red diamonds and Watergirl collects blue ones; picking up the wrong ones results in failure.
- Use levers and buttons to progress together through the levels.
- Take advantage of Fireboy being faster than Watergirl in specific levels.

How many levels are there in Fireboy and Watergirl 1: In the Forest Temple ?
The first game of this series has 32 levels. They are divided into three types and feature different characteristics.
- Normal levels: the only goal is to reach the end, avoiding obstacles and traps.
